Lai Jin Song, deputy director of Taiwan Typhoon and Flood Research Institute(TTFRI), and four colleagues of his research team visited the college of environmental studies of Dong Hwa University (NDHU) on January 13, 2017. They visited the college for an academic exchange with professors on topics related to environmental monitoring and disaster prevention and control. Lai Jin Song also presented his undergoing project(s). Participants of this conference from our college were professors: Liu San, Chen Zi Er, Zhang Wen Yan, Zhang You He, Zhang Cheng Hua, and Lin Xiang Wei. After the conference, Professor Zhang Wen Yan, director of the Eastern Taiwan Earthquake Center, presented an introduction to the center's research.
