Scholars from China University of Geosciences, Beijing, the International Cooperation and Exchange Office (Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Office), Director Cai Min, and the Dean of the Geophysics and Information Technology Department, Professor Jing Sheng, visited the Earthquake Research center in Dong Hua University for an academic exchange. They listened to the Chair, Professor Zhang Wen Yen, give a briefing on the center’s applications, business operations and the earthquake early warning systems of Taiwan. They both exchanged where the future direction of their research is heading on the two ends of Taiwan’s strait. After the meeting, they went to the center's Earthquake Precursory Observation Center to understand the current model between the center and other academic units engaged in relevant research and early warning systems. The center’s  assistant assisted in explaining how the instruments work and how the data is collected.
