The Central Weather Bureau’s Seismology Center visits the Earthquake Research Center in Eastern Taiwan.
The Earthquake Research Center in Eastern Taiwan invited Dr. Chen Dayi, a technician recommended by the Central weather bureau's Seismology center, to hold a symposium on disaster prevention research and earthquake monitoring. Dr. Chen Dayi was sent to assist and train individuals on how to install and use a software on earthquake warning systems. Students who were interested in earthquake-related topics were also welcome to join the discussion. Apart from introducing the work processes and concepts of the Seismological center, he also shared his experiences as a student on how he pursued his professional career and prepared for the official civil tests required for this field. He has then become a pioneer researcher in the field of early warning systems of earthquakes.

A small discussion held between Dr. Chen Da Yi, students and assistants in Geosciences.
